SARTORIA AMIR Inc. Fine Bespoke Clothier and Fine Military Tailor, previously known as JOHN THE TAILOR founded in 1978, by an Italian master tailor Mr. Giovanni Trunzo in the heart of downtown Edmonton, City Centre. Over the decades acquired and established a well-recognized reputation for excellence in creating top notch and contemporary bespoke/ custom made suits, shirts, overcoats for distinguished professionals. To date it’s over a decade which SARTORIA AMIR Inc. is operating under supervision of master tailor Amir Heydari, our passion and tradition is striving in a none stop journey of establishing reputation for an unparalleled and excellence in creating top notch and contemporary bespoke/ custom made suits, shirts, overcoats and customer services for the distinguished professionals. SARTORIA AMIR Inc. Fine military tailor is also,  honoured to be recognized by the Canadian DND serving the CAF providing the highest quality and unparalleled custom made mess dress/ mess kit uniforms and services for the honoured members of the CAF. Amir, who was the former head/ master tailor at Harry Rosen Inc. apprenticed with a Persian master tailor in Tehran, Iran who, taught him the signature skills of his craft for bespoke tailoring. Amir also, attended in a bespoke designing and pattern- making college in Tehran, accomplishing the masters how to draft/ create & balance the pattern for an individual bespoke suit based on a client’s posture and silhouette specification, which compliments the clients body shape and reflecting in one of kind fit and elegance. Accomplishing and mastering the art of bespoke tailoring, Amir opened his own line of bespoke tailoring creating top- notch quality bespoke and custom made suits for the high- end boutiques in Tehran. Years later in Winnipeg, Manitoba Amir was privileged met with the legendary Italian master tailor and designer Emanuel Estellacci who himself trained and gained his bespoke master’s knowledge and crafts in Milan tailoring Academia, then practiced in Italy and Germany and moved to Canada. Amir privileged and honoured to practice the masters level of bespoke tailoring and pattern designing with Emanuel where he called Amir as his son. Emanuel passed Amir the gift of his knowledge and experience along with the very personal bespoke pattern drafting geometrical tools that he brought with him from Italy, Amir kept those precious and valuable gifts of knowledge and tools that one can have in a practicing trade for bespoke creation.
